OUR KIT FOR THE DAY:

CHRISTMAS GIFT QUILT KIT 

KIT DESCRIPTION:

Every year this time of year rolls around and I get the urge to add something fun but simple to my Christmas quilt decorating. Now don't get me wrong, I am completely in love with my stack of red and green quilts that make their debut every year right around this time and I will not stop adding to that stack any time soon. But I also want to add in something simple and functional that everyone can use as a throw that I can whip up in time for this year. Well, this is your throw my friends! Barely 50" square, this simple throw is fun and can literally be made in an afternoon. I kid you not! Each quadrant is a different cream print, a large pieced gingham bow in the center, finished off with a wide green binding. The wool holly in the middle can be added as an extra fun little embellishment or left off if you prefer. I machine appliquéd mine on with matching thread after the quilt throw was quilted and it took me about ½ hr! Kit includes (4) cream prints for backgrounds, wonderfully festive red gingham, solid green binding and wool pieces for the holly as well as the pattern sheet and instructions. ROXANNE'S WIDE TIP GLUE BASTE IT

NOTION DESCRIPTION:

I have used and loved Roxanne's Glue Baste It for years. So when this new applicator was released, I knew I had to share it with you guys! The dots of glue are bigger and come out much easier. The top never clogs because it has an internal plug that keeps it open and free of dried glue. Its wonderful especially for larger pieces and wool [when you want larger glue dots] or any other projects when you want a bit more glue. Just a little bit addicted to mine my friends!
