Introducing our latest table runner pattern, AUGUST BLOOMS. Perfect for these transitional months when we are all ready for fall but fall is clearly not quite ready for us… you know what I’m saying?? Pattern Name: AUGUST BLOOMS. Size: app 26” x 67”. A fabulous way to showcase a few favorite prints from Denim & Daisies or stash favorites. As a part of my newest collection, DENIM & DAISIES, just in stores this week, there is something special… a printed “cheater” patchwork fabric that looks like a scrappy, faded denim ninepatch patchwork quilt. All of these quilt pics? Yup… not pieced at all, not in any way. Just a single piece of fabric 😊💙. It is perfect for simple throws, quilt backings, reversible, quilts, bags, pillows… anything you can dream up. It is 60” wide and pretty much perfection. I do believe it’s arriving at stores worldwide this week!!!! Not sure why, but it feels like we have been waiting for this one extra long. And I’m so excited for it to get to you and get your creative juices flowing. I know, I know… it’s not quite time just yet!!

I know, I know… it’s not quite time just yet!! But hear me out… every single August for the last 10 years or so we have curated and collected our favorite warm blacks, moody greys, butterscotch oranges and warm creams to create our quintessential Vintage Halloween Bundle and it is after all August. I spend the whole year collecting these lovelies and finally seeing them all together like this in all their bundle loveliness just makes me so happy! Ofcourse it does not help me in my impatient waiting for fall… or does it? Come check out our Facebook Group for how we are going to be sewing this one up or just head straight to the blog to see all of the previous ways we have used our annual bundle. So many many options! Thank you to @thefeltedpear for these lovely photos of her first few blocks and of course … couldn’t resist William the cat… he knows he was made for this bundle… or rather this bundle was made for him! It’s been such an honor and so much fun to work

It’s been such an honor and so much fun to work on this year long series with @allpeoplequilt and such a wonderful group of co-designers 🩷🩵💛🧡💚💙❤️💜. We still have one more issue to go after this one but for this issue, we added a bit of a twist! For this particular project, I switched places and invited my friend @betsy_chutchian to join me as the traditional counterpart and I took the modern side. It was a fun exercise for me and a great way for me to think through how I wanted to represent the more “modern” side of the equation. My vintage bow ties quilt is back from its spa day

My vintage bow ties quilt is back from its spa day and I am in love! I think it is the perfect quilt to transition from summer to late summer and even early fall for me. I have to tell you that I am so glad I decided to jump in with you all for this #vintagebowtiesewalong last month (to celebrate the release of my Strawberry Garden book) and sewed just for fun! Many of you have asked about the fabric choices: and the best way I know of how to describe it is as a bit “mushy”… I stayed away from any highly contrasting fabrics and stayed in the middle tones of all warm colors. The backgrounds are as mixed as possible! The fabric groupings are a mix of JELLY & JAM, LINEN CUPBOARD, some FRUIT COCKTAIL, favorite green and yellow scraps and the addition of my upcoming PORTOFINO.
