SUMMARY OF 2019 GOODIES!

Hopefully this isn’t too repetitive but I wanted to put all of this information in one place so that everyone can see it. I know that so many of you are new to our site and new to our social media so I want to make sure that you guys have all the same information as the “diehards” that have been here for a decade or more LOL. That program is now full but we are always taking names for the wait list in case someone has an emergency or something happens and we are able to add a few spots. Charcoal & Cream Block of the Month program

Hello my Friends! I promised a deeper overview and insight into the upcoming CHARCOAL & CREAM MYSTERY BOM FOR 2019 so here we are. Each month you will receive a black [charcoal] and a cream fabric. You will also receive some ivory solid for the background to mix in with the cream prints. You will work with those fabrics mostly just for that month and you will lay them aside for some additional sashing/posts and other finishing items. With the fabric each month will come instructions for a 2-4 blocks all the same size. The blocks will all be classic, traditional blocks with our simple piecing techniques. No templates, no appliqué! Of the BOM programs we are offering for 2019, this will be the most straightforward and for lack of a better word, “simple” one. The setting will be straight set and all blocks will be…

MYSTERY SAMPLER BOM 2019: Fig Tree Farmhouse

Hello my friends! I know that many of you diehards are already signed up for this fabulous program for next year but I wanted to share a few more details about it for those of you who are still thinking or who might be new to Fig Tree or new to our Block of the Month programs. OVERVIEW Several years ago, it dawned on us after dozens of requests that even though our fabrics are distributed far and wide and hundreds and hundreds of stores carry and love them worldwide, that not everyone has a Fig Tree loving store physically near them. It was then that we decided that we wanted to build an online community for those people… and for any of you who were looking to join in on the fun. And you all came out of the woodwork and we have loved getting to know you…

Introducing FARMHOUSE II GOODIES

Goodies? What kinds of goodies you might ask? Well… in our industry, we call them Finished Goods. Which is just a fancy way of saying that we are putting our designs on a variety of things other than yardage. We have several to share with you today and there are more in the works all the time. If you have followed along with us for a long time, you might remember when we used to do fabric Finished Goods all the time. We had aprons and pincushions and backpacks. We made tablecloths and organizers and other fun stuff. Then the industry went in a different direction and time ran short and we focused in on fabric and patterns. Well its the new trend again these days and we sure hope its here to stay… finished goods are back and they are back in force! Many designers at MODA…

Introducing FARMHOUSE II

Hello my Quilting Friends! We are slowly digging ourselves out from Quilt Market and I have so many different things to share with you but I thought it was high time that I introduced everyone to our brand new upcoming collection, FARMHOUSE II. Due to the popularity of our first Farmhouse collection [to be completely honest, it might have been one of my all time favorite fabric collections that I have ever designed] several years ago, I thought it was time to do a "take two" with new prints and the same classic color palette that we all fell in love with the first time around. I still get emails today of people who share with me that Farmhouse was one of their all time favorites or the reason they got back into quitting. I love to hear those kinds of stories.  There is something about this…
