I had so much fun designing the Christmas Village Double Border Panels for BUON NATALE [arriving to stores alongside the entire BUON NATALE fabric collection in the coming days!]
Purchased as running yardage on the bolt, the BUON NATALE VILLAGE PRINT comes in (3) colorways:
……
We have SOOOO MANY ideas for how to use this border print and we will share them all here in the coming days and weeks but it was definitely a no-brainer that we needed an updated apron pattern idea. I went back to my ALOHA GIRL apron, for those of you who have been here forever and a day, and updated it for this retro feeling Christmas apron!
This is a perfect little vintage-feeling apron that could be decorative or functional depending on what you are wanting. Make one for yourself, and another as a gift for a friend, family member, party host and, well, just about anyone else on your list!
All you need is:
……
As a bonus, you can use the remaining leftover side of your VILLAGE BORDER PRINT from the apron project above to create this beautiful ruffle tea towel for your kitchen. We used a 28″ x 28″ FLOUR SACK DISH TOWEL – available as a set of (2) HERE.
……
If you are a shop and are using this to sell your yardage, feel free to download and use. Please read disclaimer on the bottom of the pattern. We hope you enjoy this little gift from us!
Depending on your device used to view the blog, we know some of you struggle with the PDF downloads. To help avoid frustration, we’ve added images of the PATTERN SHEET here, as well! You can just “drag and drop” these to your computer. HOWEVER, these will be slightly blurry due to the photo size limitations of the blog and the PDF is a much better way to go!
……
Stay tuned to the blog for LOTS more BUON NATALE BORDER PRINT inspiration coming soon.
Happy Sewing!
