FRIVOULOUS FRIDAY

I am sure that most of you already know about those lovely little tins otherwise known as FRIVOLS. Yes, Frivols… something fun, something a bit frivolous and something definitely worth having.

6a00d83451a6c969e201b7c807a7dd970b-800wi…this is our STRAWBERRY FIELDS REVISITED FRIVOL… it is of course my favorite one in the lot. Yes, of course we are just a tad bit biased 🙂

To find out more about the FRIVOL… just in case you have been sewing under a rock for the last year.. click HERE for our full blog post about it.

I was asked what my favorite part of my FRIVOL tin is? Well the tin itself is pretty darn cute! So I guess its kind of a toss up between the tin and the strawberry label [you get two of those little guys]. Really I am looking into how I can print a lot more of those little suckers!

In case you would like to grab one of the few FRIVOLS we have left in stock [yes, we did restock!], click HERE.

What you might not know about the FRIVOL is that it is an entire collection that will have 12 lovely little tins by the time its done. I believe that they are currently working on 9-12 for the last four. Have you thought about collecting the entire lovely group? Just a thought….

Frivolscollection

Cool Beans!

And what you might really not know is that we are having a FRIVOL GIVEAWAY here on the blog for our #6 STRAWBERY FIELDS FRIVOL. Yeah!

If you decide to buy one from us [while we still have 'em] and you win the giveaway, we will refund your payment for sure so don't wait too long…

So just leave a comment below to be entered to win. Tell me what your next project is going to be!  GOOD LUCK WITH THE GIVEAWAY!

I LOVE your entire line of fabric. I’m looking to make a table quilt with your Farmhouse collection. I did not know about Frivols, I guess I have been living under a rock for the past year. Thank you!

  7. Sharon B. | 8th Apr 16

The best part about the Frivols is the fabric (first) and then the tin (second). 🙂 I haven’t tried a Frivol yet, but would like to. My next project (this weekend) will be the Strawberries For Sale Flour Sack Towel kit that just arrived in yesterday’s mail…. this will be the first time I’m trying the Aurifloss, so looking forward to it! And, the fabric in the kit is soooo pretty! 🙂 Have a great weekend!

My next project will be a quilt for my daughter who is headed off to college next year. I want her to have something to remind her that I love her and help her feel close to home when she needs it.

  11. Michelle M | 8th Apr 16

Oh, how fun! I’ve never tried a frivols tin before, but what a great idea!

  12. Margaret | 8th Apr 16

My next project is a baby quilt for a new grandbaby! I’m looking forward to making this – it’s very contemporary and a bit outside of my typical design. Should be fun!

  13. LoriM at ITQ | 8th Apr 16

I have collected all the Frivol tins. I made Hello Darling, and gifted it to a great-aunt in a nursing home. I’m working on making Bread ‘N Butter into a queen-sized quilt. But the others are patiently awaiting my attention. ????

  14. Sharon | 8th Apr 16

Love Strawberry Fields Revisited! I’m thinking my next project is a scrap quilt using several of your past lines all combined into one gorgeous quilt…for me! I give away so many quilts that I want one made with lots of your fabrics for myself. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway, Joanna.

  15. smhamnik@gmail.com | 8th Apr 16

A quilt for my son’s room-he’s 7 and will probably want to change his decor before I finally make this! Unless of course I win the frivolous, then that will be my next project 😉 sorry, son!

  16. Monique Adams | 8th Apr 16

I love cute little containers too! Just think what you could store in them once the fabric is used????. I have so many projects on the go already, but I really think my next project has to a high school graduation quilt for our son, who graduates in June! Eeeek, that is coming up quick!
    Thanks for this cute give-away!
    Monique

  23. Little Quiltsong | 8th Apr 16

Love these frivols packages, but the shipping costs kept stopping me from joining. Your fabric and pattern is so cute in this package. Right now I am finishing my Jelly Roll Slice Quilts. Each roll makes two – so of course I had to make four and noticed I had enough from the leftovers to make a fifth. Do I like sewing – :)!? Thank you for this giveaway chance. Love your videos with Kimberly!!

My parents 50th wedding anniversary is coming up, and this fabric would be perfect to use in a gift for them!!

A wedding quilt for my nephew is in the planning stages. His baby quilt 28 years ago started my quilting journey. I’m trying to make a quilt that is not too “girly” and also, not to much “guy”. The Strawberry Fields Re-visited Frivols would be fun to have because I still have some of the original Strawberry Fields. Thanks for all the inspiration, Joanna.

  141. Shawn | 8th Apr 16

Next project will hopefully be the frivols I win. Lol

  142. Gayle | 8th Apr 16

I am loving the Frivols! I love tins and what could be better than a tin with fabric in it! My next project is going to be a table runner for my sister made with Elementary. She is finally finishing her college degree and she will have her teaching certificate soon so I though it would make a nice birthday present for her July birthday.

  452. Littlebirdquilting | 10th Apr 16

A mini flag wuilt in corals and turquoise. If I start now, I might finish by July!
