As you can see, we changed up our block this week! We used the 12″ cutting instructions to create a single 6″ star block. If you’d like to make a SHOOTING STAR like ours, follow the instructions below…
Follow the provided MODA Pattern Sheet with the following edits…
After STEP 5, simply add your partial star units to each side of your D/G/H unit as shown in the photos. VOILA! You have a new 6″ star block for your Blockheads setting!

Eliminate cutting for [A], [B], and [C].
(8) 2 1/2″ cream squares [D]
(2) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ green rectangles [E]
(2) 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ red rectangles [F]
(1) 2 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ green rectangle [G]
(1) 2 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ red rectangle [H]
