QUILT MARKET IN HOUSTON
As I write this, I am on my way to Quilt Market in Houston. It is an annual rhythm for those of us in the Quilt industry as thousands of us descend on Texas each October to showcase all of our newest products for stores to see and order. Each fall this is where we release our latest fabric collection for MODA fabrics, show our accompanying quilt patterns and other coordinating products whenever we have them. This year we have so many goodies to share with you!
Today we are so very pleased to announce our Spring 2020 collection, due out in stores everywhere in March 2020. Introducing CATALINA…
The collection is meant to take you to retro summers at the beach, sailboat rides, beach towels spread out on warm sand, little girls dancing around at 4th of July picnics, popsicles and watermelon, fireworks and small town USA. At least those are the images that danced through my head as I designed the group and as I dream about its release in April.
Coordinating with this collection we have a brand new wool collection with our friends over at Weeks Dye Works… it is called Americana Rose. And I do think that it is good enough to eat… if I do say so myself!
And we also have a new collection with another favorite partner, Aurifil. All of those fabulous Catalina colors in a beautiful array of the best quality threads on the Market… in our humble opinion.

I am loving the color in this collection….especially the blues! These have a little bit of feedsack flavor to it too (another love) That wool quilt is amazing! Looking forward to seeing more!

I love the whole group, but I, too, am partial to the blue. Your colors are always so yummy but these blues just seem to really add something extra!
