ON THE FIRST DAY OF CHRISTMAS, MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME, A PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE…

For many years I used to write a little poem here each day… but over the years I learned that everyone is scrolling so quickly to get to the goodies that the poem was really not needed nor read. So instead I will just wish everyone good luck and hope that everyone gets the goodies they are hoping for!

ITEM #1: CLASSIC CHRISTMAS BUNDLE + SANTA ORNAMENT

Every year, all year long, I search, source and collect Christmas fabrics that we think you all would love and would mix well with Fig Tree projects past, present and future. 

Then once all of the fabrics arrive, I group the fabrics based on inspiration and create several different bundles that all appeal to different feels and styles for Christmas. We all like different things in our Christmas projects and sometimes we want different “feels” for different projects or gifts for people, right?

For all of us Christmas traditionalists out there, these are the classic Christmas fabrics that we love. Pine greens and darker reds mixed with classic Christmas motifs like holly, Christmas trees, stars and more. You can’t go wrong with these Christmas favorites.

Each bundle comes with (16) ½ yd. fabrics in classic reds, pine greens and ivories. Each bundle also comes with classic retro Santa wooden ornament.

ITEM #2: FELT ROTARY CUTTER POUCH W/ HEXIES

Every rotary cutter needs a lovely hand adorned holder, don’t you think? I certainly do!

We could not resist the felt pouch, or making a few little hexie flowers to adorn it, or adding some ribbon on the inside. Its all the little details that make our tool storage special, right? Plus I decided that everyone possible needed this fabulous green OLFA rotary cutter in their rotation!

Each kit includes:

• 1 black felt pouch
• 1 grey felt pouch
• 1 green rotary cutter
• Fabric baggie of the fabrics shown
• Set of 3 ribbons for decorating- red, green and pink.

Kit comes with directions on how to make the hexie flowers and ribbon additions. What a perfect excuse to make one for yourself and one for your favorite quilty friend!

ITEM #3: SILVER & PEARL TAPE MEASURE

I hope that this will be one of those treasured tape measures that gets used throughout the years. It is beautiful mix of metal and a pearlized front design, this tape measure is weighty and solid in feel and just so pretty!

Modeled on vintage designs, this reproduction features a decorative metal casing and thin durable measuring tape.

Surprisingly, this is a metal tape measure to be used for all kinds of household activities and not a fabric one so you will have to guard it from whoever is the “handyman” in your home.

It would also make a perfect gift for that same handyman!

ITEM #4: ‘PEACE ON EARTH’ PUZZLE by Cavallini

Gosh these puzzles never get old and are favorites of our Christmas shoppers every time we offer them. Filled with vintage images and with a definite retro flair, this 500 piece puzzle will make a perfect holiday activity for the whole family.

In fact in our home, working on a holiday puzzle while family members come in and out and join in the building, has become one of our favorite Christmas traditions. I would love it if it became a new tradition in yours, too.
