It’s the 8th day of the 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE and that means that the second part of the sale IS WELL UNDER WAY TODAY. Now you are speaking my love language, old Christmas song. I very well may have mentioned this in past years as well… but I will take 8 maids ” a doing anything” around here for any amount of time. Juggling everything we juggle around here sometimes takes a serious village and the help of 8 ladies helping out… bring it on any day of the week :-).

KIT OF THE DAY #1: MISTLETOE STEMS TABLE RUNNER

We can’t resist the MODA toweling… in every kind and variety. There is just something so tempting about a beautiful runner of fabric, already turned under for you on the long sides, just waiting for finishing and a little bit of embellishment of your choosing.
This toweling is a soft cream woven background with traditional red ticking stripes on each side in the “Scandinavian style”. As that as the backdrop, we created a classic simple pair of stems of mistletoe leaves in a variety of green prints with a red wool star in the center. A simple afternoon project that can be ready and on the table before company comes over for dinner tonite!

Each kit contains: app. 16″x 53″ of toweling, 3 green print fabrics for the leaves, tan and red wool for the embellishments and of course the pattern sheet.

KIT OF THE DAY #2: VILLAGE RETRO TABLE RUNNER

This toweling is candy cane in style, small stripes of a soft faded red and white throughout the length. As that as the backdrop, we created a little village with a few of our favorite retro Christmas prints and a bit of our favorite aqua wool from Weeks Dye Works. The result is a charming, retro holiday on your table!

Each kit contains: app. 16″ X 53″ of toweling, 3 retro Christmas fabrics for the houses, aqua wool for the embellishments and of course the pattern sheet.

KIT SPECIAL FOR TODAY: CHRISTMAS MUGS WITH FAT QUARTERS!

So this might have been the most fun to shop for… on a personal level :-). I scoured my favorite home stores for great Christmas mugs in a variety of styles… but all mugs that I would love to have in my own home for Christmas, filled them up with a few favorite fat quarters and am sending them on their way to you. This is a perfect gift to yourself or a sewing friend… or one for each. From our house to yours, Merry Christmas!
Mugs are assorted and each one is filled with (7) fat quarters!

GIFT ITEM FOR THE DAY: WOODLAND CHRISTMAS TOWELS SET OF 4

A beautiful set of Gingiber’s signature woodland animals in a set of 4 kitchen towels. Each towel comes with a red fabric band and a different animal: owl, bear, fox and deer. Its hard to pick a favorite but if I must… its a toss up between the deer and the owl… or maybe the fox… but can’t forget that adorable bear. Oh well, I guess I am keeping the whole set :-). although you could also split it up and give a few as gifts. Set of 4. Each towel is 17″ x 28″, 100% cotton.

Set of 3 cute holiday scissors, one of each of little tiny wreaths on red, snowmen on blue and little Christmas trees on white. comes in a set of 3 just so you can keep your favorite and gift the others :-). Merry Christmas!
