It’s a rainy California day and I’ve caught a terrible cold BUT that didn’t stop me from taking some lovely pictures of my freshly quilted WINTERTIME MAGIC ROW BY ROW SEW ALONG quilt!
I know so many of you are still working on your checkerboard sashing and finishing and I am here to cheer you on. You are so close to the finish line! I 100% feel you on the little checkerboard… but you will not be sorry when you have finished her. Honestly, it makes it feel just like the inspiration sweater!!

My row by row quilt just came back from my longarm quilter, Susan [@thefeltedpear]…and oh my gosh isn’t it fabulous?! I just love the cable pantograph that continues on theme with the original sweater inspiration for this sew along. Seriously, so so good.

It’s just a fantastic pantograph design and the scale is perfection.

I’m still choosing a binding…I may stick with a neutral binding to avoid taking away from the quilt center, but a pop of green is also never a bad idea. I’ll keep you posted on what I decide!

If you missed out on our WINTERTIME MAGIC ROW BY ROW Sew Along, don’t despair! We hope to make the sew along series into a pattern in time for next winter.

Happy Sewing!
