I have something pretty exciting to share with you all today... I do believe that we might have a special new soft and romantic Halloween collection coming your way in 2025!

Introducing my newest vintage Halloween collection... AGATHA ROAD. She is surely the softest and most feminine of all of my vintage Halloween groups to date and I am pretty much obsessed with her at the moment. There are some truly vintage prints in this group and their is a wallpaper inspired stripe that just might be to die for! The collection features my classic orange tones and charcoals and this time around they are paired with a whole range of soft “almost taupe” greys and they are magical to work with. The colors are just scrumptious together I think!

It sure does feel strange sharing autumn and Halloween to you in any way on Dec 17 when most of us are in the midst of Christmas and Holiday celebrations ... but such is the sometimes strange world of a fabric designer. So I apologize for the crazy timing but I just wanted to show you a little sneak peek of what is coming just so you could get excited along with me 😘😘

Last year, some of my @modafabrics friends and I had a Christmas ornament party over on YouTube! I thought it would be great to highlight it again this year for anyone who may have missed it or for those of you who may have forgotten all about it! It’s not too late to add some of these to your home this holiday season or give as gifts for your loved ones.

I talk through several ornament/decor patterns, including: PATCHWORK STAR, CANDY CANE & STAR GARLAND, PINECONES, MINI STOCKINGS, and even talk through my process for dried orange slices for a bit of natural element decorating, too.

Today I wanted to share with you another new #figtreecrossstitch adventure… Christmas Piazza! Inspired by my Piazza pattern made from the Portofino collection, Piazza is my interpretation of Italian cobblestone paths using one of my all time favorite large quilt blocks! In this cross stitch version, @thefeltedpear and I each set our little block in a mini drawstring bag (more info and measurements for that on the blog) for a perfect little finish. Gosh there are so many uses for this lovely little bag… special gift bag, jewelry baggie, notion holder like binding clips or other notions… all the things! And did I mention that I used a bit of my favorite upcoming @renaissanceribbons as the tie? It’s pretty much a win win for me 😊. And I must confess that this was my first solo cross project. And I am kind of in love 🥰 . I love the process and the slowed down pace of a little cross stitch at night while “listening” to the tv 😂. Also… I never knew that so many of you quilters are also crossstitchers! Teach me all your tricks and tips!? #figtreeandco #modafabrics

Well @thefeltedpear and I have cooked up a few Christmas goodies for you all. This is just a sneak peek but patterns will be ready tomorrow ya’ll!! This time around we will have both paper and PDF. If you are a shop and want to carry these little guys, we can ship next week in time for some last minute Christmas gifting. These were created to coordinate with my upcoming Christmas collection for MODA fabrics, BUON NATALE. But of course, some of us can’t wait that long and need to stitch them up right now!! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I just wanted to take a quick second in this little social media universe to thank each one of you for being here. For following along, for being customers, for interacting, “hearting” and encouraging me over the years. You really are a blessing that I am thankful for each and every day as we run this business. You don’t have to be here but you choose to be and I am grateful for that.

More importantly I want to encourage each of you today especially. If you are going through a hard time, a time of loss or grief or you simply find yourself alone this holiday… we see you. For you especially, I hope and pray that you are able to find gratitude in a few small tiny things around you this weekend. Take a walk in the falling leaves. Wish a stranger a Happy Thanksgiving. Buy a coffee for the person in line behind you. Something small… something that will make you smile. I guarantee that it will give you a moment of joy even if you are in a hard time in your life.

And on a lighter note… remember that you don’t have eat everything at the table tonite 🍗🦃🍁🍂😂!

This is what my camera roll looked like last week… and I don’t know about you… but IM NOT READY for fall to be all done and put away. Are you guys? Don’t get me wrong… I’m a big fan of the holiday season and of Christmas and the time leading up to it and the time after. I love decorating my house for Christmas and I won’t even admit to how many tubs of Christmas decorations I have !! 🤣🥹🙀🫣 But I love fall just as much. I love the colors and the feel and my natural decorations for that season. I love the sweaters and the pumpkin spice and the pumpkins and the squash and all of autumnal things. I love how the air feels and the leaves… I love the leaves so much!!! 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁. And I’m sad to see it go. I want it to be autumn for most of the year if you really want to know the truth. How are you all feeling about saying goodbye to this season soon? #figtreequilts #figtreeautumnquilt
