PATTERN SHOWCASE: BEES & BLOSSOMS

Our garden in Spring is filled with vines and flowers and bees [our neighbors are beekeepers], so it felt only fitting that they be memorialized in a sweet Springtime quilt. Work on each type of block as its own little section and before you know it, your vining garden will emerge!

QUILT SPECIFICS

All the blocks are made with my standard SEW & FLIP METHOD of piecing which means no templates, paper piecing, or anything complicated.

Finishes at 23″ x 66″
Block size: (10) 7″ finished blocks

In our sample, we used a few favorite prints from our newest collection, PORTOFINO, as well as a few of our EYELET BASICS made on a BELLA OFF WHITE background.

BEES & BLOSSOMS

• 1/4 yd. gold print [Portofino]
• 1/4 yd. peach print [Cantaloupe Eyelet]
• Fat 1/8th black print [Charcoal Eyelet]

LEAVES & VINES

• 1/4 yd. accent green print [Citron Eyelet]
• 3/8 yd. green print [Portofino]

IVORY BACKGROUND: 1 1/4 yd. ivory solid -or- Ivory EYELET
OUTER BORDER: 1/2 yd. small floral [Portofino]
BACKING: 1 3/4 yd. floral print [Portofino]
BINDING: 3/8 yd. green print [Grass EYELET]
