12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS: DAY #10

ON THE TENTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS, MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME, TEN LORDS A LEAPING…

KIT OF THE DAY: LITTLE HOUSE IN THE WOODS

One of my favorite things to work with when designing new patterns… is to be given a challenge. So when I started working on an upcoming project [that I can’t quite share with you yet], I knew I wanted a new Layer Cake quilt that really utilized all of the fabrics in the package and spoke Christmas all at the same time. And when I started to play around with the new design in Scarlet and Sage… I knew it was meant to be a part of the 12 DAYS. Presenting… LITTLE HOUSE IN THE WOODS, our latest Layer Cake pattern. Now the pattern itself is still in the works, but a pattern print out will be included with the kit of course.

Can you believe that you pretty much need just (1) Layer Cake for all of the blocks! I love that!

Now we only have a limited amount of the outer border fabric so we will offer one border and then when we run out, we will swap it out for the next one and then one more… so be sure you look at the photo of the quilt that you are getting. They will all be wonderful, I promise!

GIFT ITEM OF THE DAY: SWEET APRONS in AQUA or RED

I am a total sucker for aprons of any kind… and the more retro feeling the better. So when I came across these sweet Christmas half aprons, I couldn’t resist adding them to our lineup. Can you picture yourself or your family members in matching little aprons for the holidays? I think I can!

​And if you really wanted to do something extra unique, you could decorate each apron with a littler personalized embroidery or appliqué!

Each apron is app. long, coming just above the knee, with a pocket in the front and ties that go to the back. They are just a perfect touch of retro flair… holiday or year around.

And because we couldn’t help but add this little ornament on the day before the end of the sale…

Of all of Stacie’s images on her wonderful Merriment collection, I think the deer is our favorite. So we couldn’t resist when we saw the deer ornament! Perfect for any cabin, farmhouse feeling Christmas tree… or it would be a perfect way to adorn a gift. Each ornament is app. 3 1/2″ tall.
