Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Welcome back to Day #10 of the
12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE! We are nearing the end my friends… would it be wrong to say that I am starting to look forward to all of this fun insanity being over? :-))
Note from previous days: We have a few notions and goodies left from previous days. Please feel free to continue to add those to your boxes in the days to come. We will keep them on the featured page until they sell out.
We are also cutting and adding some more color bundles as we are able and will add them to the site when we can during random times. Its anyone's game and those bundles will not be announced.
Welcome to DAY #10
If this is your first time with us, thanks so much for joining us. There is a lot of "fine print" info at the bottom of this post that you might want to read to understand how this all works…but beware that your item might sell out while you are reading LOL!!
ON THE TENTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS, MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME…
TEN FIGS A SLEEPING [yes, right about now sleeping is one of the things I am dreaming of!]
NINE LADIES DANCING [we could certainly use a good dance party right about now]
EIGHT CANDLES TWINKLING [I definitely have a thing for candles!]
SEVEN MUSHROOMS DREAMING [yes, I am completely giving up on the rhyming now!!]
SIX TREES A SWAYING [that's the best I can do… I guess my brain is gone by day 6]
FIVE GOLDEN RINGS [that's just fine, I'll take 5 golden rings]
FOUR FALLING NERDS [my house is already filled with those but more the merrier I guess]
THREE FRENCH MEN [Ha, ha… I can barely handle the one Columbian man I have now!]
TWO PURPLE GLOVES [I know, I know, purple is not really my thing but no other color rhymes with turtle!:-)]
AND A CHICKEN IN A FIG TREE.
OUR KIT OF THE DAY:
MISTLETOE KISSES FLOUR SACK TOWEL KIT [enough to make 2 towels in each kit]
We love flour sack kitchen towels and use them every single day. Embellishing them just a little bit for each season is one of our favorite hand projects and makes them an immediate Christmas "decoration" or a thoughtful gift.. It immediately gives the room a bit of seasonal cheer! These holiday towels are finished off with a few of my favorite Chestnut Street fabrics, a little cream felt and some wonderful embroidery. Love those little berries! The kit has some special goodies in it and has enough fabric to make 2 complete towels.. one for you and for your bestir? Kit includes the pattern sheets, 2 flour sacks, fabrics for two coordinating trims and appliqué. It also includes (3) full spools of Aurifil floss in red, green and brown. Each spool has 18 yds. of 6-strand floss and the spools themselves are a $15.00 value!
OUR NOTION OF THE DAY:
4" SCISSORS IN POLKA DOT CASE [in three color choices]
We love scissors and I'm pretty sure you guys do too when I watch them fly off our shelves! Every quilter and sewer needs a few different pairs on any given day for so many different tasks!
These little 4" sets of Marks Embroidery Scissors are a fully forged construction, polished stainless steel, and ideal for fine details cutting tasks. Each pair comes fro us in a lovely little polka dot case in either red, apple green or light blue. Love these!
OUR GIFT ITEM OF THE DAY:
AQUA MODA TIN [oh my gosh these are too cute for storing everything!]:
We use our for buttons, candies, pills, pins, coins… the list goes on!!
If you have shopped with us before, you will know that I kind of have a thing for tins… all kinds, all shapes, all cute little excuses to put things inside of them. So you know we were so excited to find these new tins by MODA at the last Spring Market. All three of them are wonderful colors with a cute saying on each. The long skinny yellow ones are great for pencils or scissors or other longer, flat items and they read "Well-Behaved Quilters Rarely Make History". The medium apple green tins are great for threads or floss or anything else that needs to be corralled in a cute little box and reads "Quilters Gonna Quilt". And the smallest of the three, the soft aqua option, is perfect for coins, candies or even as a little pill box for your purse and reads "Make Beautiful Things". This one is for the cute aqua tin that measures 3" x 2 1/2".
DAILY SPECIAL:
ALL PURCHASES TODAY WILL RECEIVE A FREE "SUNDAY COVER-UP" PATTERN [perfect to dress up your chairs before company comes for Christmas].
Hope you have fun shopping today. Click HERE for more info on each product.
THE MOST RELIABLE WAYS ARE THE NEWSLETTER AND INSTAGRAM. IF YOU SUBSCRIBE TO THE BLOG, THE SUBSCRIPTION OFTEN COMES LATE OR THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE DESCRIPTION OF THAT DAY'S PRODUCTS WILL BE ON THE BLOG EACH DAY BUT YOU MIGHT WANT ANOTHER FORM OF FINDING OUT THAT WE HAVE "GONE LIVE" FOR THAT DAY. Generally the blog subscription is a wonderful way to know what is going on around here and to see updates and will often give you info that won't be in our newsletter. But for information that is as timely as updates about the 12 DAYS sale, the newsletter or IG are the ways to go because they are immediate and you can see/notice them right away.
