TRICK OR TREAT: Jelly Roll Cutting Directions

So many of you are joining us… yeah! It is so fun to sew up a jelly roll, don’t you think? So here is the info for cutting the blocks below. We will add some more instructions later on for borders. But for now, this is all you will need for your (16) 12″ blocks… they are a nice & large size so that your quilt grows quickly without being too massive at the same time. MODA Blockheads: Block 39 & Block 40

Welcome to Week #40 of the MODA BLOCKHEADS SEW ALONG! Although I posted on Instagram last week, I never managed to add my info here on the blog for Week #39 so this week, we are doing a TWOFER! Last week’s creative block was brought to you by the fabulous Robin Pickens. Her MAD ABOUT PLAID block is so much fun and so versatile! Link HERE and download the pattern directions for your project. This is our version of Robin’s block…. we went for the 8″ version for this one… using a controlled palette of (2) strong reds, a softer red with lots more white in it so that it would stand out against the strong ones and a cream print.
