From the Vault: Fresh Laundry + Figs & Shirtings

Happy Thursday and welcome to another edition of From the Vault! In this blog series, Iโ€™m digging deep into my vault of patterns to find oldies but goodies to update with more recent fabric collections of mine. Today, Iโ€™m bringing out Fresh Laundry. I love the vintage look of this quilt, especially when sewn up in soft colors. The original version was made with Fig & Plum, an early collection of mine that featured a softer color palette of dusty mauve, persimmon, stone, pear, and pond. (The pattern also featured a second colorway using just the pond, pear, and cream prints for a soft and sweet wintry version.) Later, we did a two-color red and white version for the Red & White Charity Quilt Show.
