Acorns are at the very top of my favorite autumn motifs and I have created several favorite acorn projects over the years. Not to mention leaves… of all kinds, shapes and sizes. I love creating with them!
This time I wanted something a bit more sophisticated and timeless that would be a part of my late harvest & soft autumn vibe in the house. In my opinion this pattern works starting in early August all the way through Thanksgiving and is the perfect backdrop to any autumnal decorating.
Filled with soft greys, charcoal blacks, my signature warm butterscotchy oranges all set on a beautiful ivory background.
The pattern has three variations [see bottom of the post for more specific info on each one], giving you lots of options for how you might want to work on this soft autumnal beauty.
For the quilt, you will be making (9) of these fabulous oversized blocks…
For the table runner, (3) blocks is enough for a fabulous oversized table or bed runner. Personally it is going on our bed for sure!
And for the MINI TOPPER, just one wonderful block is all you need! Add in some of our fabulous Figgy greens for a slightly more Spring flavored version…
But of course feel free to make the entire ensemble and create a whole family of Agatha’s Oaks to beautify your home!
