Hello Fig Tree Friends!

A few years ago, I decided I wanted to share a small “From Our Holiday Home to Yours” box where I could include a few quilting, kitchen, and decorating items – all with a holiday theme.

This year is our 5th annual HOLIDAY BOX and I have so enjoyed finding special goodies that overlap our love of quilting with our love of cooking and Christmas gatherings!

Each year I find so much joy looking for seasonal items that I hope you will enjoy in your own home or give as gifts. This year, I added a little spin on the packaging itself and made it something you can embellish and reuse instead of throw away.

I surely hope you enjoy each specifically curated item I have found for you!

BOX INGREDIENTS

  • For the packaging this year, instead of a box, I found a simple neutral canvas bag in cream cotton. If you want to give this as a gift to a friend [or to yourself], you can of course put all of the goodies inside the bag and VOILA, an instant present.

HOLIDAY WREATH TABLE TOPPER

I used one of my favorite seasonal feeling blocks and featured a few prints from my BUON NATALE Christmas collection for this 4-block topper.

I personally sewed this project in a day and then quilted it in another afternoon so I can say with all certainty that it is something that everyone can finish before the holidays!

It really makes a perfect seasonal topper for any table and would look so beautiful with some holiday greens or a poinsettia in the center!
