I have a little treat for you guys today!
If you’ve been around for a while, you already know how much I love my AURIFIL thread. I use it for all my sewing needs: piecing, quilting, binding, and mending!
From the moment I discovered AURIFIL in my local quilt shop many years ago, I have literally never put anything else on my machine or, come to think of it, in my hand too. I love how it feels in my machine and in my hand and there is no lint to speak of. I wholeheartedly recommend it for all your quilting needs!
TIP: My go-to color for piecing is AURIFIL COLOR #2000, which is a perfect neutral cream I use for most everything.

On occasion, I do love to collaborate with AURIFIL and create full thread sets for specific collections or needs – to give quilters even more options to use this incredible thread! They are a wonderful partner and over the years we have created 5 or 6 different collections with thread, floss and wool.
My latest collaboration with AURIFIL came with my DENIM & DAISIES fabric collection – which you can still find yardage and pre-cuts for in select stores and online.
I have a PREVIOUS BLOG POST that introduces this specific AURIFIL thread collection, including the thread names and coordinating numbers to the box colors, needle recommendations… and lots of pretty pictures! 🙂
Be sure to check out THE THREAD SHOP on my site for AURIFIL goodies I’m currently carrying! And yes, Denim & Daisies box sets are still available!

And now for the treat I mentioned!
Erin from AURIFIL and I have been planning this interview for a while but it just never seemed to work out for the both of us for one reason or another. So it was very satisfying to finally get it on our calendars and to work through all of her fun questions! Thanks Erin!
We certainly talk about all things thread, but we cover much more, including:
