MODA Blockheads: Block 23

Welcome to Week #23 of the MODA BLOCKHEADS SEW ALONG!

Hello friends! Its another lovely Wednesday morning and you know what that means!

This week we have come back to the sweet and lovely VANESSA of Lella Boutique. I think I’ve already told you how much we enjoy playing with Vanessa at Quilt Market. Another fun fact: Eric calls her Vanessa 2.0… since she is one of two Vanessa’s on our design team. I guess we are back to that little sister thing again :-)…

We did the 8″ size for this cute little block…

It was a perfect opportunity to choose (16) different scraps and mix them all up for (16) little snowballs! As much as possible, we tried to alternate “lighter” red prints, the ones with more white in them, with the “darker” ones so that the little balls wouldn’t “fall” into each other. I think we were mostly successful!
