MODA Blockheads Block #45 and #44 too!

Welcome to Week #45 of the MODA BLOCKHEADS 3 SEW ALONG… Let’s just get right to it this week!

THIS MONTH’S BLOCK

It’s Betsy’s day today and here is the PDF DOWNLOAD, CLICK HERE on Betsy’s blog. Go grab yours!

We chose a 12″ size for our version of this one and went with a softer red for one side and our favorite “pumpkin seed” from Christmas Figs II for the other side of the flying geese. We added in our favorite large scale red floral for the setting triangles. This one sure turned out beautiful! I definitely think its one of my favorites. Thanks for the beautiful block Betsy!

And since we missed posting last week, here is #44… believe it or not, I actually had the block done, two of them if you can believe and just couldn’t manage it all last week!

This was Sherri’s block. Click HERE if you still need it. We chose the 6″ size and made two of the blocks because we are in need of a few more 6″ blocks for our setting choice.

CATCHING UP ON THE PROGRAM

For those of you who are following our layout exactly, we didn’t add the applique from a few weeks ago , but instead made a few more of the 4″ filler blocks that we needed. We made 5 of the little 4″ hearts and 5 of the little mini houses.

… we got to use a great little stack of our favorite prints
