You guys loved my previous patchworks and patchwork projects so much last time around that I couldn’t resist mixing it up and creating a summertime garden vibe with the SUMMER’S END collection!
I have started a hundred different goodies with it already and can’t wait to share them all with you!

PATCHWORK FUN FACTS
……
Once again, this patchwork makes an absolutely perfect quilt backing in both colors. It is also a wonderful patchwork to use for so many different projects as it is SO VERSATILE. Just quilt the panel at home [or ask your longarm quilter to do it] & assemble ANY bag pattern using the quilted fabric. Even more simple is the patchwork simply quilted up with a longarm pantograph as a simple throw that looks SO REAL -OR- with the addition of rounded corners. And how about some pillows?

There are even a few more ideas we have brewing and we will share those in separate blog posts…think project bags and pouches! 😉
……
The DENIM PATCHWORK TOTE bag pattern was originally created for my DENIM AND DAISIES collection patchwork. I couldn’t help but make it up in the SUMMER’S END version for a refresh!

This time around, I used grey duck cloth and SUMMER’S END coordinating ribbons from RENAISSANCE RIBBONS!
Pattern available via PAPER or PDF.

The below quilt uses 2 yards of the green colorway. We rounded the corners for a fun detail by tracing around a dinnerplate!
TIP: Be sure to use bias binding to finish your quilt to account for the curves.

The below quilt uses 1 3/4 yards of the cream colorway, with standard square corners.

Another great idea for the patchwork is to make up pillows in LOTS of various shapes and sizes!

Stay tuned for more patchwork project inspo – coming soon.
