It’s the 3rd day of the 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE and we surely hope you enjoyed the first two days. ON THE THIRD DAY OF CHRISTMAS, MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME, THREE FRENCH HENS. I guess that brings us right back to hens… or chickens. The problem is that we have 5 and I don’t believe that there is anything French about them. 🙂

Start with two mini charm packs, SCARLET & SAGE as well as FARMHOUSE II, pick out all of the reds, greens and creams and this simple and lovely table topper is born. Add in a bit of our favorite red polka dot and a little bit of ivory solid and you are good to go. We even included one of our favorite prints for the backing. So this kit has everything you will need for the whole quilt! We love these prairie points so much… just a little extra folding and such a wonderful holiday feel!

Every year this time of year rolls around and I get the urge to add something fun but simple to my Christmas quilt decorating. Now don’t get me wrong, I am completely in love with my stack of red and green quilts that make their debut every year right around this time and I will not stop adding to that stack any time soon. But I also want to add in something simple and functional that everyone can use as a throw that I can whip up ini time for this year. Well, this is your throw my friends! Barely 50″ square, this simple throw is fun and can literally be made in an afternoon. I kid you not! Each quadrant is a different cream print, a large pieced gingham bow in the center, finished off with a wide green binding. The wool holly in the middle can be added as an extra fun little embellishment or left off if you prefer. I machine appliquéd mine on with matching thread after the quilt throw was quilted and it took me about ½ hr! Kit includes (4) cream prints for backgrounds, wonderfully festive red gingham, solid green binding and wool pieces for the holly as well as the pattern sheet and instructions.
