PATTERN SHOWCASE: NINE PATCH ROSE

NINE PATCH ROSE

Over the years, I have found that often times it is the most simple, classic scrappy quilts that end up being my favorites.

This is basically a unique take on a nine patch block and I think it looks so wonderful in this scrappy setting. Both the prints in the blocks and the scrappy ivory backgrounds just make it sparkle.

Choose one of the (3) different size of blocks and build your next favorite scrappy quilt. Add in any scraps from your stash as you work for added sparkle!

QUILT SPECIFICS

The three sizes of blocks 5”, 6 ¼ and 7 ½” size blocks are shown in a variety of setting options for your choosing. First up, we added sashing and used the middle-sized block for the main version. 

Next, we went with the cute little small block and eliminated the sashing for a scrappy throw size quilt.

Lastly, we made the largest block size in more limited color palettes for either a Halloween, Summer Picnic/Patriotic or finally a Christmas throw option.
