If you know me, you know I LOVE everything about Autumn. The crisp mornings, cozy evenings, changing leaves, and of course… ALL the pumpkins!There’s just something about pulling out those warm, delicious Autumn fabrics and turning them into something quilty that makes this time of year feel extra special.I thought it would be fun to share a little roundup of some of our favorite pumpkin quilts, blocks, and projects. Each one has its own personality, and I love seeing how a simple pumpkin can look completely different depending on the fabrics, colors, and layout you choose.Whether you like your pumpkins traditional and scrappy, soft and vintage, or bright and playful, there’s just no wrong way to quilt a pumpkin! And let’s be honest… is there ever such a thing as TOO MANY pumpkin quilts? I think we all know the answer to that one.

I realized earlier last month that I hadn’t really

I realized earlier last month that I hadn’t really done a lot of the things that I had wanted to do this summer. So I’ve tried hard to enjoy the remainder of our August to the fullest and to get all that we could out of our summer. We kayaked three weekends in a row, picked a lot of fruit at the farm, went to several new lovely dinners out, made an attempt at my first Facebook live and I’m ready for September! Here we come autumn!

GATHERING BASKETS…This was a favorite block I first created for my AUTUMN FROLIC BLOCK OF THE MONTH program several years ago. The moment I created it with that sweet little leaf, I knew I wanted to add in at least one more autumnal motif, an acorn was the perfect match, and make it its own pattern!I do believe that BUTTERNUT & SAGE feels like the perfect pairing for this design, don’t you think? The fact that it works with a LAYER CAKE is just the icing on the cake for me!Of course you can use yardage or your stash of your favorite fall-feeling fabrics for an equally wonderful result!Special thank you to @laceypoirier for her piecing, and @bottmarion for the lovely quilting on this one!

Have you heard?Our Facebook Group is hosting a LITTLE BOX BOOTCAMP. We know so many of you have joined us, both past & present, in our annual LITTLE BOX subscription adventure and I thought it might be fitting to hold a BOOTCAMP event to get us all motivated. All throughout August, our members are dusting off those green box WIPs and working toward a finish or two! Some of you even three at a time!!In addition to this quarter’s project, we have counted over 15 different LITTLE BOX patterns being worked on so far, by dozens of different people… it is so very motivating!
