‘MOSAIC’ OFFICIAL PATTERN INTRO

Working with a MODA pre-cut and designing a quilt that feels unique and fresh while still based on a single precut is one of my favorite assignments. I always accept the challenge and it makes my design brain work!

I knew I wanted to showcase the whole JELLY & JAM collection and truly show off each of the lovely prints in the group and the layer cake [my favorite precut] was the perfect place to start. MOSAIC felt like design idea that would do just that. Simple piecing and a little layout magic creates this stunner!

Main Quilt

62.5″ x 62.5″
Layer Cake-Friendly + (3) 1/4 yard extras in soft green and aquas. Please see pattern for specific amounts of each color, etc.
Background [ivory white-on-white eyelet]: 1 3/4 yards
Inner Border [green ditsy floral]: 1/2 yard
Outer Border [large cream floral]: 3/4 yard
Backing: 4 yards
Binding: 5/8 yard

Mini Quilt

43.5″ x 43.5″

This version has a smaller block and is a perfect little lap or armchair throw!

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:

• All patterns shown are created with our newest MODA collection, Jelly & Jam. Patterns can of course be made with any fabric you can dream up!
• Jelly & Jam ships to stores April 2024.
