Something new…

Today is the first day that all three munchkins are in school at the same time… There is a glorious stillness in the house. I am even afraid to play my MammaMia music so as to not disturb the quiet. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE spending time with all 3 of my creatures [that is an affectionate name even if it doesn't sound like it. A story for another time]. But don't get me wrong, I LOVE the hours of stillness when they are otherwise occupied :-)! Definitely a day to finish up…

Summer’s End…

I've been M.I.A.  for almost two weeks now. Is something major going on over here, you might wonder? Could it possibly be that we have already begun the countdown to Fall Market? Could there possibly have been a major photo shoot happening at our house lately? Well, maybe…  but more importantly all three of my wonderful little munchkins have been home with no camp for the past 2 weeks, we have gone on vacation to Catalina Island and my dad has visited for several days!  I can handle all those work deadlines…

During my jaunt to Long Beach I had the great opportunity to take one little side jaunt to a little place that I had wanted to visit for such a very long time. Summertime….

I’m still here, working the summer away, daydreaming about what it was like when I had summers off. What was  that like anyway? I keep telling my kids, “back when I was a little girl….” kinds of stories until their eyes roll up into the back of their heads and they run screaming from the room :-)… hey, if you can’t use your kids for entertainment then why have them at all?? 🙂 I haven’t gotten a chance to see the movie yet, but have been listening to the soundtrack of Mamma…
