Are you ready to get a jumpstart on your Christmas sewing? I might just have the pattern for you!
In between quilt projects, I love creating patterns for smaller projects that you can finish in a weekend and enjoy right away. For this one, we used my popular village border print from the BUON NATALE collection. These pillows are both charming and “weekend doable”…I promise!
I hope you are able to sew and quilt them to enjoy in your home or to give as a gift this holiday season.
Enjoy!

……
This project is based on the BUON NATALE village border print and a coordinating red print. That’s it!
If you are a LITTLE BOX OF FIGS subscriber, this is the MAIN PROJECT in your box this time around.
Use the red print and the cream “snowflake” leftovers from the village print as your “JOY” background. Use the red print for your prairie points, as well as binding. Use more village print leftovers or stash scraps for the “facing” of the pillow.

For those of you who wish to recreate it exactly as we did but are not LITTLE BOX subscribers, here is your info.
Pillow Size: 15″ x 26 1/2″ [without prairie points]
The CHRISTMAS JOY PILLOWS pattern is available in PAPER and Downloadable PDF.
……
That’s not all!
Not only does this pattern include instructions to create the prairie pointed pillow, but also (3) bonus ideas, including:
Make your selection and follow the directions for that project throughout the cutting and assembly instructions in the pattern.
If you do not have access to the BUON NATALE village border print, feel free to sub in a different seasonal print or floral in its place. A great variation would be to take the JOY letters and add them to something else entirely… maybe that would get your wheels turning?!
