PATTERN SHOWCASE: MILK & BLOSSOMS

I have always been a bit in love with these pieced pitcher & flower blocks… they just interpret my collection of vintage French enamel pitchers so well!

Over the years we have created these in so many different collections and variations and it was time to refresh this classic pattern with a bit of ROSIE.

Completely pieced with no specialty rulers or complicated methods whatsoever, our SEW & FLIP method gives you all the shapes you will need to construct these flowering beauties.

PATTERN VARIATIONS

As I mentioned in my intro, we have done this pattern in many collections and several variations. I wanted to highlight a few of those here…starting with a TULIP flower alternative to the original BLOOM flower top! Inspired by a favorite Amazon find…

All pattern directions to change your flower top are available in a Free PDF in THIS BLOG POST.

The original MILK & BLOSSOMS pattern was made to coordinate with my CHANTILLY collection…circa 2018-2019 maybe? The soft florals…two varying backgrounds…I can’t find a version I don’t love! Check out that blog post HERE.

And if you’ve been around awhile, you’ve likely become aware of our annual 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE that we do each November. In a previous year, we changed the flowers out to red and the pitchers out for some festive, holiday black prints and the CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS version was born. It wasn’t hard to fall in love with this version just as much as the original – made with our FARMHOUSE collection.

Read more about that version HERE.

Hopefully one of these ideas will spark your own version of MILK & BLOSSOMS!
