12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS: DAY #9 … OR DAY #12 DEPENDING ON HOW YOU ARE COUNTING!

Hello my Fig Tree Friends!

It’s the 9th and FINAL day of the 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE. If you have been counting our days off and Thanksgiving… this is officially the 12th day of our crazy annual sale!!

If you want to shop, then here we go [please come back and read how the sale is quite different today than any of the other days! Just CLICK HERE.

ON THE NINTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS, MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME, NINE LADIES DANCING.

KIT FOR THE DAY

… shown pieced but not yet quilted. Not sure at this point how we are going to do that, maybe a simple meander in red for the background and that’s it.

KIT #1 FOR THE DAY

BALTIMORE ALBUM “PANEL” RUNNER
We chose 10 of our favorite blocks from this stunning “cheater panel”, sashed them with some simple red sashing and ivory posts and voila… an instant table runner finished in the blink of an eye… literally.

And what is better is that we have more than a dozen extra blocks leftover to work into other projects… another runner perhaps, placemats or some holiday hotpads.
Simple projects, especially during the holidays, are sometimes the best and this “cheater panel” of gorgeous Baltimore Album blocks from my friend Corey’s line, Beautiful Day, are perfect for some simple holiday sewing.

Kit includes:
(1) Beautiful day full panel [24 blocks] in red
White fabric for posts
Red dot fabric for outer border
Instruction Sheet for this simple runner.

SPECIAL INFO FOR THE REST OF TODAY

THANK YOU FOR JOINING OUR 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE!

This year our kits and bundles seemed to go super fast… often in just a few minutes. We made more available than before and you guys were ready to shop with some seriously fast shopping fingers. Congrats to those of you who got your goodies and as always… so sorry to those of you who missed out!

Next week, after the sale is over, we will try to make up some more of the Christmas Creams as well as the neutral Yuletide Spruce and Gingerbread Runner, three of the most requested kits that we actually have fabric for.

Unfortunately most of the bundles are not an option for redos since all of the fabric is gone.

REMEMBER THAT TODAY IS A BIT DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER DAYS!

Remember that we will continue to add a few SALE goodies in limited quantities for the next few hours so please do check back in if you are able and especially if you know that you have ample space in your box. We will not be announcing those “drops”, they will just appear in the shop in the same place as all the items have been for the last 9 days.

What to expect for the rest of the day:

As we do final counts, we might put a few things on sale that we have just a few left of.

We have a few kits still coming as well as some small goodies too If you know you have a lot of room in your box, feel free to add in some fabric or backings when we have them available.

However please remember that if you overstuff your box with NON 12 DAYS ITEMS and you overflow, you will need to pay for the next box overflow.

How would you know? Good question.

Well a medium USPS box will easily hold 1 large bundle and a small kit and any number of small items. If you have already overflown into a large box [per the sale rules, we cover the upgrade of that for you], you would be able to easily fit in 2 bundles and a regular kit and some littles, perhaps more depending on the shape/size of the items. The items that are the biggest in this sale? The puzzle, the mug, the big bundles.

These are just examples and many of you have overflown into a second box… so then it all begins again. These are just estimates and please do not call us and ask how full your box is… you will just have to estimate on your end and we will do our best to pack as much as is possible into each box. Our elves have gotten really good at “tetris packing” as they call it, where they pack and repack until they fit it all in!!

The sale will officially close tonite. At that point the “i bought a box” shipping option will disappear from the shop and you will no longer be able to choose it as a shipping option. Until that point, feel free to add goodies into your box keeping the above info in mind.

We will add backings for many of the items from the sale as well as just general Christmas quilts on Monday for those of you who have been asking so stay tuned for that.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOPPING WITH US THIS YEAR!!

We will start putting the boxes together on Monday and begin shipping on Tuesday. The shipping process will take at least a full week so please be patient. We are not able to tell you the status of your box during the shipping timeframe as we let the elves do their box magic!

Stay tuned for a few fun items coming right after the sale!

I wasn’t able to purchase anything from this event but I sure had fun watching things fly out of the shop!! This is such a fun event. I hope you can all take a little breather once everything is sent off to their new homes.
    Happy Christmas!

Must be the new math. 9 days of shopping, 2 days off. What did I miss?
I have to say it seemed a lot longer, waiting for each day to post.
    Merry Christmas!

You are right :-). Usually we close down tomorrow which would be 12 official days but we are all out of goodies so are shutting down today.
