12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE: DAY #2

Good morning and happy SATURDAY… early, early morning Saturday… everyone! 

Hope you all enjoyed yesterday's goodies. We have been able to add some larger quantities of things this year due to some serious pre-planning and creative storage solutions LOL!

So please feel free to add some of the notion items from yesterday if you didn't get a chance as we still have some of each of those available.

If you are interested in yesterday's kit, we are seeing if we can add a few more in later this week.

Welcome to DAY #2

Over the last couple of years, what we have learned is that during this sale no one… and I mean no one… is interested in anything I have to say here that is cute or whimsical! In the past I have written poems and shared funny stories… but let's be honest, you are here for the goodies!!  So let's bring on the goodies!

But  just like last year I have changed the song to reflect my favorite things! I have to have a little bit of fun, right?

ON THE SECOND DAY OF CHRISTMAS, MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME…

TWO WINTER GLOVES [last year I went with purple gloves, but I am just really not a purple gal so this year I thought I would go with winter… which I actually do need this year… so maybe Santa will bring me a pair]

AND A CHICKEN IN A FIG TREE.

OUR KIT FOR THE DAY:

COUNTRY CHRISTMAS TRUCK FLOUR SACK KIT 

KIT DESCRIPTION:

Each and every year we create a fun kitchen towel kit with something simple and Christmas feeling… something that can be easily added to a towel for some "instant Christmas". Of course we don't actually USE these embellished towels once we make them… they are too cute… which is why we give you all a second towel and extra fabric so you can a simple band of fabric to the second towel and actually use that one while the first one is purely decorative! That is kind of what we do around here. The towels [which are my absolute favorite flour sack cloths, crazy, crazy absorbent] with a simple fabric band are the ones that I use every day until they are ragged… and then just make new ones. While the embellished ones come out every year to decorate the kitchen and if anyone in my family touches them… well, let's just say there are words! Kit includes two flour sack towels, red gingham fabric for two towels, wool and black floss for embellishing one towel, pattern and directions.
