FRUIT SALAD SAL: WEEK 4 – PINEAPPLES

Did you guess right?! It’s PINEAPPLE TIME! This week is even more fun, because the FRUIT SALAD book has *TWO* versions – PINEAPPLE FIELDS and PINEAPPLE PICNIC. PINEAPPLE FIELDS First, let’s start with the PINEAPPLE FIELDS quilt, which is the classic yellow and green colorway with 21 pineapple blocks and alternating leaves to really bring that tropical feeling alive! FRUIT SALAD SAL: WEEK 3 – BLUEBERRIES

Here we are! Blueberries will be our focus this week and I know many of you are excited for this one. Oh, my goodness. I have been blown away by all the fun projects I’ve been seeing take shape on Instagram and Facebook with the CHERRIES block from week one! Keep ’em coming! This week, week two, we will be celebrating LEMONS! The featured quilt in the front of the book is titled LEMON CHIFFON – a perfect ode to yellow and green and our love of citrus! The leaves and flowers top it off so perfectly, if I do say so myself. Due to the interchangability of the blocks, you can of course make more lemons, more…

This block has been a fan favorite right out of the gate and I can’t wait to see what projects you all come up with! If you are a huge fan of cherries, as so many of you are, maybe you want to work on this CHERRIES JUBILEE quilt while you dabble with all of the other blocks as well… bring it [as my teenage kids would say :-)]!! Also, wait to see what I worked up for this week…

WELCOME TO THE FRUIT SALAD SEW ALONG

Hope you guys are getting as excited for all of the fruit goodness coming as I am! Today we are talking about preparation and getting ourselves organized as we prep for our FRUIT SALAD quilts. Susan is going to give us some great tips and hints how to think through and organize ourselves, and she is sharing another one of her infamous ORGANIZATIONAL SHEETS. I have to tell you… that just printing these goodies out makes me feel more organized. So take it away Susan… GETTING READY The Fruit Salad Sew Along is starting tomorrow, and before I…
