Introducing HYACINTH… Creating flower quilt block

Introducing HYACINTH…Creating flower quilt blocks has always been one of my favorite design puzzles. It requires both time in the garden as well as time with my graph paper…both activities that bring me great joy & satisfaction. When my tiny little Grape Hyacinth plant unexpectedly re-bloomed this year, I knew it was time to create a quilted version of the charming little blooms. Each Hyacinth block is its own little masterpiece and even though there are a few SEW & FLIPs in each one… I do think they are well worth the final result! Head over to the Fig Tree BLOG for a more detailed look at HYACINTH.This new pattern comes in two versions - a (16) block version pieced by @laceypoirier and quilted by @marionlvquilter, as well as a slightly smaller (9) block version pieced and custom quilted by @quiltedgrammy. Thank you so much ladies!!Samples made using my MAGPIE fabric collection showing to stores now, and shipping JUNE 2027. Patterns available now!

Come on over to the Fig Tree & Co. YouTube Channel

Come on over to the Fig Tree & Co. YouTube Channel and look through all my favorite MAGPIE prints. Honestly this Fig Tree Rainbow of colors is my favorite way to join my collections. This single group will take you from Christmas to Summer to Halloween to Spring and back again. I am sooo excited to share more with you and to show you all the different ways you can use these awesome blender prints. Did I mention all my favorites are in here :-)?

There’s something so nostalgic about an autumn harvest day… baskets of pears gathered from the tree, the kitchen filled with the sweet scent of fruit simmering on the stove, and rows of freshly canned jars waiting to be tucked away for winter. The CANNED PEARS quilt feels like a little piece of that simpler time captured in a quilt. The sweet pear blocks, vintage-inspired colors, and classic piecing have all the charm of an old-fashioned pantry shelf—and I absolutely love it!It makes me think of crisp fall mornings, harvest baskets, handwritten recipes, and the kind of quilts that were made to be loved, used, and passed down. A little bit of autumn, a little bit of nostalgia, and a whole lot of quilting goodness!

Minis are my absolute favorite thing to do. In bet

Minis are my absolute favorite thing to do. In between all the larger quilts that I am working on, there is just something wonderful about starting and finishing a mini quilt in an afternoon. It is a perfect way to use up scraps or a Layer Cake or mix and match your favorite new collection with a little bit of goodies from your stash.Do you enjoy making minis as much as I do? Have you made a MINI HUGS quilt yet?

Introducing MAGPIE… The MAGPIE collection is name

Introducing MAGPIE…The MAGPIE collection is named after a little bird that is one of nature’s famous collectors. Have you heard the legend that a magpie is known for collecting bright & shiny objects and stealing them away to hoard in its nest?Sound familiar? I know many of us can relate to that when it comes to the last bits of our favorite prints!!MAGPIE is a group of some of my all time favorites made smaller + a few new additions of the kind of “go to” prints that I reach for again & again and never want to be without! These treasured prints accompanied by my signature soft and warm Fig Tree rainbow of saturated colors is definitely what you will find me sewing with for many projects to come. They are PERFECT on their own but also meant to serve as print and color BRIDGE FABRICS between all of those favorite Fig Tree fabrics that you can’t live without.I sure hope you are ready to hoard some MAGPIE with me.
