Moda Blockheads Block #34

Welcome to Week #34 of the MODA BLOCKHEADS SEW ALONG!

This week we are back around to Miss Lisa and her love of tiny tiny pieces! I have to admit that even though the pieces might be many… this is hands down one of my favorite blocks we have done so far! Just gorgeous! Check out her pattern, link HERE and download the pattern directions for your project.

We really enjoyed working on this one… okay, perhaps I am overstating it a bit given how hard it was to get all of those points and corners to match. As you can see… it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful, right?? We really love the OUTCOME even if the process might have made us a little bit crazy.. how about that for some truth?

We chose the 12″ for this one… mostly because we didn’t want to work with smaller pieces than these LOL! We used 2 different alternating prints of reds to create the rows and a whole variety of soft cream prints for the backgrounds. We used ivory solid for the background of the center star. Really such a beautiful block!

And a few shots from a few weeks back with our alternate… info on original post.
