It always feels so odd to be showcasing a collection or a group of patterns that most of us won’t be enjoying until NEXT SUMMER... but here we are anyway.

In case you have not gone over to Youtube to see the video showcasing all of these, here are a few little pics of some eye candy to get you into the summertime vibe.

All the patterns are available now and SUMMER’S END will be available Summer 2026! Patterns include GERTRUDE, CAMEOS, GARDEN ROSEHIPS, SPIKY ROSE, MAISY DAISIES.

Hope everyone is enjoying some Christmas sewing right now! Oh... and one last thing... one of our customers suggested making GERTRUDE with Christmas bows... and now that is all I can think of :-).

Just like the jelly roll has a sister in her honeybun counterpart, the MINI CHARM is a little sister to the charm pack! These 2.5” squares are perfect for so many scrappy patchwork projects and so many of us just love collecting them to get a little tiny bit of every piece in a collection!

First up, PATCHWORK STARS! Whether you create them to be ornaments on the tree or make a bit larger as decor around your home - we’ve got you covered. In fact, head over to the Fig Tree YOUTUBE CHANNEL and check out the tutorial video I made for all sorts of holiday ornaments… I think it is still my most popular video!

Also featured in the YOUTUBE video is my MINI STOCKINGS pattern - which is also a great use of those seasonal MINI CHARMS. Directions included show how to use with one allover fabric or as a checkerboard pattern for your squares. And you gotta love the cute little cuff.

And if you’ve been collecting MINI CHARMS and are ready to REALLY bust your stash, check out the HOLIDAY GIFT quilt pattern sheet and do some more “gift building” - in a full quilt! This was a pattern we did in a prior year for the 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SALE and it is definitely a great one to revisit.

Day 4 in our MINI SERIES: fabric precuts with a festive spin...

Today we are featuring the MODA fabric precut HONEYBUN. The HONEYBUN is the little sister to the JELLY ROLL and a perfect way to get some thinner strips into your projects.
I don’t always design a honey bun for each collection, so it’s a special treat when we can feature these unique 1 1/2” strips in a fun, new pattern.

First up is YULETIDE SPRUCE. I love the simple and even modern feel of this tree which utilizes a MODA Honeybun pretty much to perfection! You can decide if you want uniform color trees and use the same fabric for all the “branches” on a single tree or you can go scrappy and mix it all up...your choice. By changing the background, you can create a totally different vibe with neutral or winter blue trees!

Next up… SWEET SUGAR SWIRLS. I first designed this pattern in a more summer, patriotic vibe but mocking it up in BUON NATALE Christmas fabrics has really inspired me to add this version to a future Christmas line up. And just to add one more version to the line up, I mocked one up in more solid feeling fabrics [mostly EYELETS] with a few Christmas ones thrown in so you could see how it would look more uniform.

Gosh I love these!

Day 3 in our MINI SERIES: fabric precuts with a festive spin...

Today we are featuring the MODA fabric precut LAYER CAKE. I love how most of the precuts are named after food items… do you think they bring in a bunch of snacks into the marketing room when coming up with these names? I love it!

I think these 10” squares are probably my favorite precut. They are large enough cuts for many block designs, and it’s a great way to truly get a feel for a fabric collection while still keeping my design brain interested. They are really SO very versatile.

I present to you TWO layer cake-friendly pattern recolorings today. First up is HUGS, followed by HAZEL & BLOOMS. Both of these offer simple block construction, making them a fast sew but equally beautiful. HUGS is definitely the simpler go to and very beginner friendly. HAZEL is not a hard pattern by any means but does require a bit of layout room!

Day 2 in our MINI SERIES: fabric precuts with a festive spin…

Today we are featuring the MODA fabric precut JELLY ROLL. I love unrolling these 2.5” strips to reveal all the fabric collection goodness.

And with that, I present to you YULETIDE SNOWFLAKE, my ALL TIME favorite jelly roll quilt ever as well as a redo of JELLY & FIGS.

For YULETIDE, I really think every quilter should be able to make a lone star without templates or y-seams…and being jelly roll-friendly makes the whole process a bit more simple in all the important ways. Be sure to read through all the hints and tips on getting your angles correct on this. The results are just the best! Take a look at @richjr16’s recent green and tan version. It’s SO GOOD.

So the real question is…would you add the optional applique accents or no?

As for JELLY & FIGS...this is definitely one of those “go to” patterns that can be made in a weekend and look good in every collection. Mocking it up in Christmas was just a little bit too fun. And if you really want to rogue as we call it... grab two jelly rolls or simply add in favorites of your own, and make one in all one color grouping like this green one. What do you think?

HOLIDAY WREATH TABLE TOPPER… I used one of my fa

HOLIDAY WREATH TABLE TOPPER… I used one of my favorite seasonal feeling blocks and featured a few prints from my BUON NATALE Christmas collection for this 4-block topper.

I personally sewed this project in a day and then quilted it in another afternoon so I can say with all certainty that it is something that everyone can finish before the holidays!

It really makes a perfect seasonal topper for any table and would look so beautiful with some holiday greens or a poinsettia in the center!

It’s the season of making all of our daily thing

It’s the season of making all of our daily things pretty and gifting them around here. These are some simple felt Rotary cutter holders that we have embellished with Hexies and ribbons for one of our 12 DAYS SALE items. These were simple and fun to make and I kinda feel Ike everyone should have an embellished rotary cutter holder, don’t you!? @modafabrics
