It’s here…WEEK TWO in our WINTERTIME MAGIC ROW BY ROW SEW ALONG!

In case this is your first time hearing about our mystery quilt sew along, be sure you check out all the details in our INTRODUCTORY POST HERE, which includes how to obtain the pattern, full fabric requirements, scheduling details, and much more.
We’ve also added a FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS POST HERE to help address some of the common questions we’ve received thus far.
If you missed the week one assignment, check out the TWINKLE TREES POST HERE.
…and with that, let’s head into WEEK TWO: HEARTS!
CLICK HERE for Week #2: SWEET HEARTS.
……
Did any of you guess that from last week’s blog hint? 🙂
Sweet, simple and right in line with the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday.

The pattern PDF will tell you how many you want to make depending on which size of project you are choosing to make: MINI, RUNNER or LAP THROW.
……
It might look like there are a lot of SWEET HEART BLOCKS here but there are two reasons for that…
1- I am making the lap throw quilt size so that means that I need 3 rows of hearts!
2- Since this is the most simple of all the blocks in our SEW ALONG, I decided to make it easy on ourselves and use these simple little beauties to be all the filler rows in between the other blocks on the larger quilt versions. Hence all the cute little hearts you see here.
Trust me… you will see how quickly these little sweeties come together!

Thank you for the helpful tips. I love heart blocks. You really need to give us notes for work so we can take off and sew. Ha Ha!

Hello, I have the seasonal patchwork pattern and have done a search on the blog for the heart edition, I can’t find it. It doesn’t come up when I do a search. Could you please help direct me to the right place, so I can get the fabric requirements, and if I need to buy an add on pattern?
Thanks so much
Jana
