* The Fig Tree 12 Days of Christmas sale starts on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, and lasts for 12 days [usually with a Sunday off here or there].
* Each day a different kit, stocking stuffer and/or home dec goodie will be advertised- on some days several of each! Each day a special offer will be made as well.
* Each special offer will become available on that one day. Each goodie will only be available while stock lasts. Most of the items offered will sell out on that day, some will last a few days. Please believe us that some items will sell out crazy fast and some will last all day based on popularity and stock. Is there any way to get more of the leather needle cases, I would really like one, I have been following faithfully but always seem to be late, you items must be flying off the shelves, may be you can tell me where I can buy one same with the snips offered earliers in the week, thanks Lorraine

The wallet is imported from England. We would be happy to offer them again in January. Would you be interested then or only now for Christmas? The snips come in an assortment and we will not be getting them again. They are available through quilt stores as far as I know but I do not have a source for you.

This sale has been nothing but an exercise in frustration for me. I have been checking the website within an hour of receiving each day’s email, but most, or all of the items are gone already. What time does the sale start?? I can’t find this info anywhere on your website. If you are selling out in less than an hour EVERY DAY, then I think there should be more items available! It doesn’t seem fair otherwise.
I wanted the snips and the needle wallet, too, as well as some other things. So far, I feeling nothing but a little sour on the whole “sale.”

I’m confused about this sale along with your other faithful followers. Today’s Christmas Day was a repeat of yesterday’s and, of course, none of the items are available. I too would have loved one of the leather needle wallets but they were long gone by the time I got my email. It has become an exercise in frustration……..

Almost all of the items have been available for 1/2 the day or more each and every day so I am a bit confused by the frustration. I have a feeling you are getting your emails late or the next day. There is no sale today. We take Sundays off as we talked about on our blog. We also noted that if you are subscribing to our blog feed through some kind of an aggregate program, you are most likely going to receive the blog posts a day too late because that is how those programs work. The only way to get the info immediately is to either subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on instagram. Those are the only ways we can communicate with you in real and actual time. We send other forms as well – including facebook, twitter and blog subscriptions- but those are hit and miss depending on your settings and the programs themselves. Unfortunately we have no control over those. We did let everyone know all of this in the beginning to help people prepare and be ready. I am so sorry that you didnt catch that info. We will offer the leather wallets again in January and you will be more than welcome to get some then. Like other customers have already suggested, you can always give a picture and an IOU for a friend if you would like. We will send out info on those wallets through our newsletter as well. We have increased stock on as many products as possible by double or even sometimes triple. WE just don’t have the facility or man power to do more. Sorry about that. The products are definitley not selling out in 1/2 hr. so you are for sure getting your info late. The sale starts anywhere from 5-8 am in the morning PST. We vary it to give different parts of the country a better chance on different days.

I just received yesterday’s specials today! …and of course all sold out. It seems the last 2 or 3 announcements are not arriving until that afternoon of the next day. Thus the cause for frustration. I went to the website the last 3 days and all sold out. I bought a box and really wanted the house quilt kit. Oh well.

Let me try to explain again… only the newsletter comes exactly on time, in the morning on the day scheduled. That is why at the beginning of the sale, we explained that only the newsletter and INSTAGRAM come immediately and right when we intend them to. If you are signed up for other alerts or for a subscription to the blog through email or any other email aggregate program, those often come the next day and at random times. You cannot rely on those for the updates. We have no control over when those come since they are a third party program and not regulated by us in any way. Same is true of Facebook. Facebook determines which posts you see and which ones you dont unless you change your settings to receive all the mail from a particular person.
The emails that come straight from us, our newsletter, comes when it has been scheduled to come and it comes to everyone at the same time. The other forms of communication are normally fine but not fine when you have a time sensitive sale such as this one. If you are getting something the next day, that is most likely your email subscription to the blog and has nothing to do with our newsletter that comes through a program called CONSTANT CONTACT.
Hopefully this helps explain the mysterious emails the following day….
