MODA BLOCKHEADS 6 – BLOCK 7: BELLISSIMO STAR
Hello BLOCKHEADS! I am sitting this year out in terms of making all of the blocks each week but have really been enjoying watching you all create some beautiful designs over the last few weeks. Today is my official day with the block titled the BELLISSIMO STAR! Its a doozy but the pieces are nice and big so you should be all good. The block combines half-square triangles, flying geese, and quarter-square triangles to create a design that can be created in SO MANY different ways. I am in love with the nostalgic, holiday feel of this CHRISTMAS VILLAGE BORDER print in my newest Christmas Collection, BUON NATALE. Honestly, I want to decorate everything with it. We are making table and bed runners, mantle runners, Santa bags, long pillows, tablecloths, skirts, kitchen towels & aprons. The print is a bit addictive and once you start, its kinda hard to stop making all the things! Here it is in the 3 options… …… This simple runner pattern utilizes the border print in either red or green and uses the center leftover fabric for the blocks…
