Can you even believe it? Our MODA Blockheads 5 journey has officially come to an end!
We have had so much fun working alongside all of you each week on these wonderful blocks, courtesy of so many talented MODA designers. Each year I am always a bit hesitant to jump into yet another long project with everything else that we have going on at Fig Tree. But every year I am so happy with the process of working on all of the weekly blocks and in love with the final result.

We finished our quilt top and are ready to send out for some yummy quilting. We’re thinking a dense ‘Baptist Clam’ to keep with a classic design. What do you think?
So far its just a flimsy on its way for a spa treatment. We will definitely share more photos once quilted, so stay tuned!!

In case you missed it, you can download our own Fig Tree finishing pattern below! All those wide scrappy sashings really make the red and green blocks shine!
You’ll need a total of (9) 12″ blocks, (20) 6″ blocks, and (4) 9″ corner blocks. HINT: check out THIS BLOG POST for how we made our 9″ blocks!
