MODA Blockheads Block #25 and #26

Welcome to Week #26 of the MODA BLOCKHEADS SEW ALONG!

Hello friends! Its another lovely Wednesday morning and you know what that means! I missed you guys last week… it was just one of those weeks, you know? I am sure we all have them.

This week we are back to the lovely Janet Clare and her beautiful subdued design style.

Check out her fun ZIGZAG BLOCK HERE and download the pattern directions. The thing I like the most about this particular pattern… you can pretty much make it any size you want!

We opted for (1) strong red, (1) soft red/cream dot print and one ivory solid and the 6″ size. But this would also make such a wonderful strip design… just keep going until you reach the length you like!

As you can see we used flying geese instead of HST’s… I am sure this is no surprise to any of you who follow our patterns and instructions. We are big fans of simplifying anything we can!

And since we kind of had that crazy week last week and missed Robin’s fun CORNER GARDEN block last wednesday, here it is this week. So we are calling it a twofer :-). We did this one as a 6″ as well. Click HERE to download that pattern as well.

I think they like each other, don’t you?

Photos of blocks just because…

A few of our recent favorites…

… the first round of my blocks so far. Plus a sweet little pincushion from Carrie’s PIN PALS book, made by my dear friend Cynthia.
… I love to see the block pile grow each week!

It looks like you subbed flying geese for some of the hat. Could you give us a hint on the measurements for your 6” block

    Thanks😊

What size did you make the corner garden block?
