On the 8th Day of Christmas

On the  8th Day of Christmas my true love gave to me, eight Maids A Milking.

Not sure what I can say about this particular present. Why exactly would someone send Maids A Milking to their true love? And to top it off, not one or two of them… eight of them! Talk about an odd Christmas present…

In the theme of today's topic, I wanted to share a story with you about my middle son, otherwise all about athletics and a super smart kid into technology… you get the picture. Last year when asked what one thing he wanted to do most for summer camp, looked at us and said, "I want to learn how to milk a cow". Okay then. We sent him to farm camp. I guess you'll never know what will come next when you have kids!!

In the spirit of milking and cows and farms, we thought we'd offer up this fabulous set of RETRO REPRODUCTION POT HOLDERS from MODA HOME. It was hard not to keep a bunch of these and give one to everyone on my Christmas list! They are too cute.  

The set has 4 different pot holders, each one with its own unique retro farm logo. The set comes in the cutest little embellished muslin bag with a tiny little decorative fork. Who thinks of these things? Lissa? Holly? You guys are awesome!

 …. The DAILY EGG one might be my favorite. Although the HEALTHY GROWING MASH is pretty darn cute too.

 … this is the pocket. I mean seriously?? I'm trying to figure what I can use it for after I take out and use my pot holders. Did you notice that little fork? Cute!! Ideas?
