A new jelly roll pattern…. one of my favorites right now. This one is made with 1 Dandelion Girl roll. At Market we will also have one done from 1 Fig & Plum jelly roll…. who would have ever thought that lone stars could be this simple…. no special cutting, no y-seams…. more peeks tomorrow. talk to you soon…

Happy sneak peeks and Happy Mother’s Day

Well, its the night before Mother’s Day and in order to be able to take the day off and enjoy my family tomorrow, I am working late into the night today to earn that privilege… is there something backwards about that thinking? Who thought of scheduling Spring Quilt Market the weekend after Mother’s Day anyway?? Anyway, I promised some sneak peaks so…. what do you want to see first, patterns or fabrics? Updates…

Its Market production time again… and we all turn into hermits. A few of my fun accessory items that come with Dandelion Girl came last week… I couldn’t resist getting off the computer to go outside with my little “model” and have her display my favorite item… this patchwork backpack. Isn’t she the cutest? Ella of course, but the backpack isn’t bad either. I have a few extra on hand if anyone is interested and I would be happy to order a few more if you all “need…

Dandelion Girl is in the house

Well… it looks like DANDELION GIRL has left the building and is arriving in stores all over the country and internationally. Thank you for all your generous emails letting me know that it has arrived and that you’ve gotten yourself some! Our magazine kits have also started to ship & we are so happy that you all are so ecstatic to receive them! Happy Spring! It certainly does feel like we’ve been waiting for this one for a long time… or at least we’ve been talking about it for a long time…

The Quilt Show…the Good Stuff

Well, I’m home and reaclimating to California weather… boy are we spoiled here! Colorado was a whirlwind of beautiful desert views, snowcapped mountains, unbelievable quilting personalities, some wonderful southwest architecture and a lot of nerves. Now of course they asked me before I came on the show, whether or not I had ever been on TV before… NO, I DON’T THINK SO! Oh wait, I like to do a little TV show on the side…. after I’m done with all the other Fig Tree activities I do… and the kids…
