The Quilt Show
Well, I’m on the road again. At the moment I am in the Antlers Hilton
in Colorado Springs with the most beautiful view out of my window of all of downtown Colorado Springs…. In fact the scenery around here is just breathtaking! 
And why am I here you might ask? Well, I am actually on my way home from a little town in Southern Colorado, called La Veta [my husband has been calling it Velveeta for days now, so I can’t even write the name of the town without chuckling]
What was I doing in the desert of Southern Colorado you might ask? Well, I had the privilege of taping an episode of The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson & Ricky Tims! It was a wonderful experience and I have many more pictures & info to share…. as soon as I get home and download the camera. Until then, here is a little shot of the front of Ricky Tim’s studio & The Quilt Show logos. Back soon with much more exciting shots…. some fun pics with Alex herself and the crazy Miss Gina…

Oh my goodness, Joanna! TQS is one of my new fave places to “stalk”. I’ve always loved Alex Anderson. I hope you had a wonderful time in “Velveeta” and I’d love to hear all the gory details.

My goodness, Joanna! You are getting more famous as we speak!!! Good for you!! I’m so happy I’ve gotten to know you and the wonderful person you are.
From now on when I’m in the grocery store and I see Velveeta cheese I’ll think of you, hubby and fabric!

I had the opportunity to see Alex Anderson when she was in Pittsburgh recently (just before she went back to “Velveeta” to do more tapings…lol). An incredible evening and she did talk about TQS. So I went to visit their website (you can check it out pretty thoroughly before you subscribe) and was hooked. GREAT website with lots and lots of information. Now I don’t miss seeing her on HGTV as much as I did when they cancelled her show. You can watch when YOU want to (not tied to a TV schedule) and you can watch episodes in any order and over and over again. A good investment, in my opinion! Can’t wait to see your episode, Joanna. As Miss Jean said, I won’t be able to keep a straight face in the Velveeta aisle anymore…..lol
