‘DRAGONFLY’ [PART 2] OFFICIAL PATTERN INTRO
As promised, PART 2 of our DRAGONFLY pattern booklet is here! We used a limited color palette from my upcoming JELLY & JAM fabric collection and made it HOLIDAY! With a smaller block and a simple alternating turning of the blocks, you can easily create wreaths!

DRAGONFLY Pattern Variations
Holiday Wreaths
51.5″ x 57.5″
Blocks: 1/4 yard cuts in various reds and greens. Please see pattern for specific amounts of each color, etc.
Accent Fabric: 1/8 yard cuts – one each of a red and green.
Background [ivory white-on-white eyelet]: 2 yards
Inner Border [low volume print]: 1/2 yard
Outer Border [red floral]: 5/8 yard
Backing: 3 3/8 yards
Binding: 1/2 yard
Garlands
In one more layout twist and color placement, garlands emerge from alternating red and green rows in any variety or red and green prints from the JELLY & JAM collection or your own stash!
64.5″ x 73.5″
Blocks: 3/8 yard cuts in various reds and greens. Please see pattern for specific amounts of each color, etc.
Accent Fabric: 1/4 yard cuts – one each of a red and green.
Background [ivory white-on-white eyelet]: 3 3/4 yards
Outer Border [low volume print]: 1 yard
Backing: 4 5/8 yards
Binding: 5/8 yard
I think this pattern is so very versatile and can be used in so many different variations to create completely new and different quilt patterns… it is my favorite kind of block!
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- All patterns shown are created with our newest MODA collection, Jelly & Jam. Patterns can of course be made with any fabric you can dream up!
- Jelly & Jam ships to stores April 2024.
- All of the Jelly & Jam patterns will be shipping at the end of October and once we receive them from the printer, we will send them on to you!
