MODA Blockheads Block #38

Welcome to Week #38 of the MODA BLOCKHEADS SEW ALONG!

This week we are back with Stacy Iest Hsu. Check out her fun graphic pattern, FRACTURED RAINBOW, link HERE and download the pattern directions for your project.

This is our version of Stacy’s block…. we went for the 6″ version for this one… using a large variety of our scraps. Making the varegated rainbow didn’t really work in our traditional red and cream sampler so we simplified the design to use just two alternating colors.

We used (6) red scraps for the main sections, (6) cream scraps for the coordinating background strips and then the same small red dot for the (4) corners. We wanted those little corners to stand seperate from the rest of the coordinating bars.
