Well I am here in Pittsburgh, getting ready for Spring Market. Making the rounds of my favorite prop shops- otherwise known as Home Depot, Target, IKEA, etc…. I thought I would start off a little show n tell of what the shops are going to be seeing in the next few days. Creme Fraiche is our new large format applique project… I know I am branching out into pink!  But its not really pink, its more of a soft, peachy apricot kind of pink and it has grown on me over the years. This entire quilt was inspired by a bathroom rug of all things. I know, I know, inspiration comes from the strangest places sometimes! You just have to be ready for it when it comes…. I know its been one of those MIA times for me… it seems to happen every time that MARKET  preparations come around. Best laid plans to be ready and finished way ahead of time just somehow never materialize. To tell you the truth, I was actually ready a bit ahead of time this go around. I had hired a few extra hands to assist in the process and all was going smoothly… until my desktop blew up!  Literally blew up. We had a power surge and the very nice surge protector we had… well lets…
